About Stay Dream

Stay Dream operates three entire private homes in Katsushika, a friendly residential area of Tokyo. Our goal is a true "home in Tokyo" where families and groups can relax together under one roof.

Our Story

On family trips abroad, choosing where to stay was always a big question. We found that a whole house, where everyone can live together and do laundry, is far more comfortable than a hotel.

But we also experienced places with little information, poor cleaning, stairs to climb with heavy luggage, and too few bedrooms for a good night’s sleep. So we decided to create homes that travelling families and groups can truly enjoy.

What Stay Dream values

Everyday Tokyo life, just as it is
Stay Dream is not in a tourist district but in the residential streets of Katsushika, Tokyo’s old downtown. Shop at the local arcade and live just like the neighbours — an everyday Tokyo you cannot find in a hotel.

Because the whole house is yours, family and friends can stay together without being split across rooms. Feel as safe as at home, sleep soundly in a quiet neighbourhood with quality bedding, and recover from the journey.

Every home has a washing machine and a full kitchen. No more worrying about laundry mid-trip — pack lighter and travel freely. Pick up ingredients at a local supermarket and enjoy a meal together at the family table.

Detached houses give you privacy, and you can experience everyday life in Japan. Each home has both tatami and Western-style rooms.
